What we review
Trade receivables, filed claims, and interests reflected in debtor schedules can be a starting point for review. A listed or filed amount is not automatically an allowed claim or a purchase commitment. Identify the exact debtor and creditor, any disputes, and prior transfers.
A negotiated sale
The purchase price is negotiated for the specific rights and risks. It can be less than face value or possible future recoveries. Compare the proposed proceeds, payment conditions, and continuing obligations with retaining the claim.
Start with the records you have
Share the case, creditor name, approximate amount, and contact details. A proof of claim, invoice ledger, contracts, and relevant notices can help later diligence. You do not need a complete closing package to begin a conversation.
Court deadlines still apply
An inquiry or negotiation with Wychwood does not file a proof of claim, extend a deadline, or resolve an objection. Continue reviewing official notices with your advisers.
